KYN28A-12 armored removable AC metal enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as switchgear) is a new product designed and developed by our company on the basis of absorbing the advanced manufacturing technology at home and abroad. It can replace various old metal enclosed switchgears, such as KYN1-12, KYN2-12 and other series products.

The product has the following obvious advantages:

●The enclosure of the product is completely bolt assembly with high mechanical strength, which effectively ensures that the product is neat and beautiful, the cabinet door is sprayed with plastic coating, with strong impact resistance and corrosion resistance ability. The protection level of enclosure is IP4X(it can be changed to iron plate according to customer needs).

●The switch of this product can be equipped with VD4 vacuum circuit breaker produced by ABB company and C3 series Pxed load switch, and also can be equipped with a variety of domestic series vacuum circuit breakers (such as VS1, VH1, VK, Zn28), which can Replace the similar foreign products.

● No matter what type of circuit breaker is selectes, the bare conductor air insulation distance can be guaranteed to be greater than 125mm and the composite insulation can be greater than 60mm. lts circuit breakers have the unique advantages of long life, less maintenance and small size.

Armored Removable AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear

The switchgear is designed according to the metal-enclosed switchgear in GB3906-91. See Figure 1 for the structure description of the switch cabinet:the switch cabinet is composed of Fixed cabinet body and withdrawable parts (referred to as handcart). The enclosure of the cabinet and the partition plate of each functional unit are connected by bolts. The protection level of the switchgear enclosure is IP4X, and the protection level of the breaker room door is IP2X when the door is open. The switch cabinet can be equipped with vacuum breaker handcart or Fixed load switch. It has overhead incoming (outgoing)line, cable outlet and other functional solution. The switchgear can be arranged in double cabinets, namely, back-to-back or face-to-face double row arrangement.

Installation of switchgear

a. Transfer the switchgear to a specific location according to engineering requirements and drawings.If there is a long row of switchgear (e.g.,more than 10 switchgears),the consolidation work should start from the middle position.

b. Use specific means of transport such as cranes or forklifts.Roller crowbars are strictly prohibited.

c. Take out the circuit breaker handcart from the switchgear and store it elsewhere for safekeeping.

d. Loosen the retaining bolts in front of the bus compartment and remove the vertical partition plate 9.

e. Loosen the retaining bolts of horizontal partition plate 19 under the breaker compartment and remove the horizontal partition.

f. Loosen and remove base plate 16.

g. Remove cover plates 1 and 2 from the control lines lot on the left side of the switchgear. Remove the cover plate of the right front control line groove at the same time.

h. Install the switchgear one by one on the basis,including the horizontal and vertical aspects,and the installation irregularity of the switchgear shall not exceed 2mm.

I. When the switchgear is completely combined (spliced),it can be connected to the base channel steel with foundation screws or welded firmly with the base channel steel by electric welding.
